Why Now? Why Coaching?

As technology continues to flatten the world, more and more we need to connect and collaborate across boundaries and beyond cultures.

In this sizzling climate of rapid and accelerated change, the only constant is the essential need of human beings to discover their own potential and to find ways to productively and peacefully live and work together.

Coaching professionals are gaining significant recognition as catalysts and as change facilitators to connect worlds - our inner personal world, the world of relationships with others and the world we live in.

And this is one reason why we chose the theme of this years's ECC to be:  Connecting Worlds!

We truly believe that the ultimate mission of the coaching profession is to connect worlds – to connect our inner personal world, the world of relationships with others and our relationship with the world we live in.  Connecting to help create a better world for all of us to enjoy and share peacefully.

One of the core missions of professional coaching is to allow people to step out of their everyday thinking and take stock of their actions, thoughts and dreams.

As coaches, we help our clients create a space for reflection where they can reconnect with their values, to what matters most, to human ageless principles and, often enough, to their true purpose.  Again we are contributing to Connecting Worlds.

The coaching profession contributes greatly to create a better world when we see all of us as a group of professionals who, united beyond boundaries, strive to help others to increase their level of awareness, to make choices that are sustainable and go beyond immediate and individual interests.

We help our clients to think systemically, to experience holistically, to understand the broader picture, to appreciate the consequences and fruits of their actions and decisions.

In these ways we support continued dialogues among people, we remind people of the importance of relationships, and we help people to connect their worlds, experience a deeper understanding of themselves and find the energy and means to reach out to, with and for others.

The coaching alliance itself becomes a “relational model” of great importance, because in our “not knowing” and in our asking powerful questions that we create a space for inquiry where clients develop a curiosity that replaces judgment and prejudice.  New possibilities are boundless when a small group of motivated individuals come together with a common purpose – Connecting Worlds.

We hope you will join us to be part of making new connections and creating new possibilities.
