Life Balance and Well-Being

Vanessa Shaw

Track Manager .:. Vanessa Shaw

The Life Balance and Well-Being track will examine a growing recognition in the professional coaching community of the advantages of incorporating health, life balance and well-being as part of an integrated coaching approach. This includes becoming more pro-active in promoting and maintaining physical health, increasing cognitive fitness and agility, minimizing stress, and building up personal energy and resilience to cope with long workdays, heavy workloads, busy travel schedules in an always-on connected world.

This track will review the history of coaching and its evolution for the future, will show us how to become more connected as a person through an integrated mind-body approach, will equip participants with valuable skills to gain life mastery as well as strategies for preserving health and fitness within time constraints. Integrated health and well-being remains a largely untapped contribution to enhancing both personal and corporate performance and as a means of gaining personal fulfillment and competitive advantage. The more connected we are personally, the easier it becomes to connect with others.
