Purpose

The purpose of the Build Your Business “Coach as Entrepreneur” track is to help coaches to build a successful business. The track offers information, tools and experiences that enable coaches to clarify their vision, align intent with market needs, sharpen their marketing & selling skills and put in place action plans that take them to the next level of business development.

Main topics

Coaches expand their perspectives and tool kit on building businesses by:

  • Aligning vision, intent and action with market needs and trends (defining success for yourself; addressing emerging needs; writing a business plan; etc.)
  • Identifying marketing strategies (self-selling; unique selling proposition; networking, segmentation; positioning; pricing; virtual coaching; perception and recognition as professional coach, etc.)
  • Developing sales client account management approaches and tools (prospecting methods; sales pipeline; follow-up; etc.)
  • Exploring collaborative approaches with other coaches (partnering, joint ventures, coaching teams, etc.)
