Track Speaker - Sara Hope and Clare Allen

Internal coaching and the integration of a coaching culture
One of the most effective ways of developing and embedding a coaching culture is through the introduction of internal coaches. This session will explore the experiences within KPMG in the UK, in terms of the challenges faced and the contribution to enhanced business performance, as well the considerations behind introducing the concept across Europe and beyond.


Biography

Sara HopeSara is a Senior Business Coach for Advisory Services at KPMG, based in London, UK. Her role as an internal coach involves developing and implementing the European KPMG Coaching Strategy, providing 1-1 coaching to Partners and Directors, developing the coaching capability of managers, and managing the supply of external coaches. Prior to joining KPMG in 2001, Sara worked at Vodafone and Ernst & Young. Sara is in the final year of her MSc in Coaching and Development and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Clare is a Senior Business Coach for Tax & People Services at KPMG, based in London, UK and leads a team of 4 internal coaches. Clare’s role primarily involves providing 1:1 coaching to Partners and Directors, and working across the business on developing and implementing a coaching culture. Her career spans tax consultancy, graduate recruitment, global mobility and coaching for the last 6 years. She has the OSCM Advanced Diploma in Coaching and she is currently undertaking a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Development. She has trained in Career Counselling and is a Chartered Tax Adviser.
