Track Speaker - Laura Crawshaw PhD

Executive Coaching: A Solution to Workplace Bullying (USA)
This presentation will introduce participants to the intensely challenging and deeply rewarding work of coaching abrasive (bullying) executives. Coaches who can effectively intervene with overly-aggressive individuals have the satisfaction of knowing that they have contributed to not only to the organization’s productivity and well-being, but also to the greater goal of reducing suffering in the workplace.

Biography .:. Laura Crawshaw

Laura CrawshawLaura Crawshaw, Ph.D, founded the Executive Insight Development Group in 1994, a firm that specializes in coaching abrasive leaders at all levels. Executive Insight has served an international clientele of corporations over the past thirteen years, including over 40 Fortune 500 companies. With over thirty years’ experiences as a psychotherapist, corporate officer and executive coach, Laura now focuses her research and practice on the reduction of workplace suffering. Her book, Taming the Abrasive Manager: How to End Unnecessary Roughness in the Workplace (Jossey-Bass Publishers), has just been released. Dr. Crawshaw holds degrees in clinical social work and organizational behavior, and is a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations, the American Psychological Association, and a past member of ICF’s Research Committee.
