This facilitated discussion speaks to serve the coach who wishes to deepen their coaching competence and their ability to assist their client to move more powerfully in the world. Co-facilitated by members of the ICF’s International Assessors Team, the Wisdom Circle will feature a short coaching demo followed by a deep discussion focused on single core competency or a related group of competencies. Wisdom Circles are for any coach who anticipates participating in the ICF Portfolio Exam Process within the next year.
Biography
Giovanna D’Alessio MCC, MBA in Communication Sciences, Giovanna founded and managed her own advertising agency for 5 years. She then spent 7 years in Saatchi & Saatchi as Account Director and Responsible of Saatchi’s Internet Unit. From 1998 to May 2000 she was responsible for the italian start up of Yahoo! Inc. She then moved to London (Yahoo! Europe Headquarters) as European Marketing Director. Since 2001 she reoriented her life around coaching and founded her coaching company Life Coach Lab (www.lifecoachlab.com). She mainly coaches CEOs and executives in the areas of personal and organizational transformation, leadership effectiveness, people management, personal effectiveness, and life balance. Giovanna got her MCC certification from ICF in December 2005. In April 2002 Giovanna founded Federazione Italiana Coach, Chartered Chapter of ICF where she has been elected President for a two-year period. Giovanna was a member of the Board of Directors of the ICF (2004) and has been elected Vice President for the year 2005. She currently sits in the Board of Director of ICF as Treasurer
Philip Brew MCC, Philip has been a full-time professional coach for the past 12 years, receiving his MCC credential in 2004. Based in London (UK), he is the co-founder of an ICF Accredited Coach Training Programme (Coaching Development Ltd) and provides supervision, mentoring and coaching to professional coaches, in addition to his client practice. Philip is a past Co-President of the UK ICF National Chapter and for several years served on the global Ethics and Standards Committee. He currently serves as a credentialing assessor and as a Director on ICF’s global board. He is passionate about contributing to excellence in coaching and to the development of the profession.
