Connecting the Dots: Coaching Research from Past to Present to Future
This session offers a look at prior coaching research, as well as studies which are in progress, showing how changes in research trends reflect changes in the field of coaching. The presentation incorporates strategies for participants to find coach-related research in a variety of media, and presents a perspective on how using recent research can help coaches become more effective practitioners. Session objectives:
1. To understand how coaching-related research can be useful to practitioners, entrepreneurs and scholars.
2. To inform participants of a process for accessing coaching-related research and venues for sharing their own research inquiries with others.
3. To educate participants on research illustrating how coaching is viewed by the global media.
