Core Competencies Workshops - Alix von Uhde MCC and Sabine Henrichfreise MCC

Active Listening
This facilitated discussion speaks to serve the coach who wishes to deepen their coaching competence and their ability to assist their client to move more powerfully in the world. Co-facilitated by members of the ICF’s International Assessors Team, the Wisdom Circle will feature a short coaching demo followed by a deep discussion focused on single core competency or a related group of competencies. Wisdom Circles are for any coach who anticipates participating in the ICF Portfolio Exam Process within the next year.



Biography

Alix Louisa von UhdeAlix Louisa von Uhde M. Ed. MCC, is founder of concert coaching, providing coaching, consulting, and training with an international team of qualified trainers and ICF certified coaches working throughout Europe, North America and in Asia.
Alix is passionate about her work as an executive leadership coach, her work in the intercultural arena and mentor coaching.
She was the first Master Certified Coach (ICF) in Germany. She has served as an ICF assessor since 2002 and is an assessor trainer for ICF. She has served on the ICF Ethics and Standards Committee since January of 2007. She was Cultural Liaison for the 10th Annual ICF Conference in San Jose, California, USA 2005, where she also presented. She was presenter for the Business Day European Coaching Conference, Brussels 2006. She has been a presenter for ICF UK in 2007 and 2008, and has also presented for ICF Switzerland as well as the local ICF Düsseldorf Chapter.
Alix has designed training programs for intercultural communication, leadership, team building, and systemic communication processes. She has developed and implemented concepts, programs and trainings for German, European and US businesses, multinational industry as well as government agencies including chemical industry and multinational consulting companies.
Alix earned her B.A. and M.Ed. at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Early in her career she received an award from the North Carolina Department of Education for outstanding leadership and accomplishment and was selected to consult with Title VI C programs in the southeastern United States.
Currently she is working with clients on three continents. Alix has done many interviews both in print and on radio as well as published many articles, including Professionalizing Coaching in a prominent German periodical.


Sabine HenrichfreiseSabine Henrichfreise, Master Certified Coach with legal studies in Germany, France and Great Britain, Ph.D. in law.
Founder pf philena, her own consulting and coaching company dedicated to helping multicultural teams, networks and global organizations in creating their future collectively.
She works in 3 languages - French, English, and German.
Sabine Henrichfreise has a 6 years business experience within a world-wide company based in France as Legal Director, then as HR Director for Top Executives.
She is Consultant and Coach since 8 years developing her expertise in collective intelligence, transcultural coaching and creative organisational transformation. Additionally, she has developed a specific know-how in coaching women in leading positions. She is co-founder of the innovative concepts of Tandem Coaching™, approach with two coaches (man and woman of different nationalities) that dramatically enriches the efficiency of coaching and ELUSIS Solution Tanks™ (peers coaching peers to create new solutions in real time).

Sabine pursues her ongoing training in Executive Coaching, Group Dynamics and individual behavior analyses complemented by individual and collective supervision sessions for her own coaching activity. She is the French partner of the European Institute for Managing Diversity, based in Barcelona and member of EPWN (European Paris Professional Women’s Network). She has been co-creator of the 2007 ICF Conference in Long Beach ans she is actively participating in the European Movement of “Art and Business”. She intervenes for the European Business School HEC where she runs workshops on “The intercultural dimension of coaching” and “Coaching organisations”. She is a Visiting Coach at INSEAD.
She is co-author of the book “Le coaching des organisations” (May, 2008 in France) and author of the article “Re-genesis of Collective Intelligence, our genuine capacity of collectively thinking, learning and creating our future” (Routledge 2008).
